The production of building brick (ceramic, silicate, etc.) in Russia in December 2016 decreased by 20,6% compared to the same period in 2015 and amounted from 721 to 573 million bricks. The production of ceramic bricks in January-December 2016 decreased by 18.4%, silicate bricks decreased by 35% compared with the same period in 2015. In general, for January-December 2016 produced 7,996 million bricks, which is 24% less than a year earlier.
Shipment of construction bricks by medium and large enterprises in December 2016 slows its decline. Remains of building bricks in December 2016 are increasing, the seasonality factor of demand is affecting.
